A participatory art event in cooperation with Katrin Glanz
Galerie M, Berlin-Marzahn
With the project Tauschbörse, the inhabitants of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district of Berlin were invited to exchange objects — things that they no longer needed but still considered usable. Over the course of the exhibition, Galerie M changed, and existing items were combined with new objects. On the last day of the exhibition, the objects changed owners.
Do things from private households gain a different value when they are shown in a gallery? What stories do they tell? Galerie M was transformed into a space for social and creative encounters.
